Our Story

The founders of The Underwood Branch Homeschool Cooperative include four friends who have a heart for educating children in the ways of our creator. After discussing homeschooling their children for a long while, an idea sparked. Not only did they want to give their own children a better option, but they wanted to offer the entire community the same opportunity that they have. Most parents have to work 8-5 Monday to Friday and as working parents, the founders understood that homeschooling is sometimes not an option.  The Underwood Branch was truly a God given opportunity, with many "God winks" along the way. That's why the cooperative is centered on Christian values and education.
